Is Justin Bieber’s “I’ll Be There” The Rap Song Diplo’s Readying?

Kick off your weekend with a low-key unreleased song from Justin Bieber.

We played Justin Bieber’s Purpose record more times than we’d like to admit. Needless to say, anything left on the cutting room floor is a welcome opportunity to revitalize one of our favorite records in 2015. The 21-year-old finds himself cooing about a love interest in the mid-tempo R&B-style track titled “I’ll Be There,” and is possibly the track Diplo is referring to when he says he has an unreleased Bieber rap track. If it is, the song will drop around summer time. “We actually have a crazy track that we never put out with him, like a rap song,” Diplo said at the Brit awards.




We can’t say for sure the cut is from the Purpose recording sessions with Diplo, but it does share similarities to several songs from the No. 1 album including “Get Used To It” and “Trust.” Listen below:
