Plus, see her chat about "The Voice" and partake in a little game called "Phone Booth."
Just as Jimmy Fallon teased, Miley Cryus offered "The Tonight Show" a much-needed dose of vocals on Friday night's (September 16) episode, courtesy of a cover of Bob Dylan's "Baby, I'm in the Mood for You."
Joined by The Roots, Miley took viewers on a playful ride for the Odetta-inspired rendition of the 1965 song with soaring notes, mid-performance banter and that southern grit that comes out every so often. It's a good ol' feel of Miley (the vocalist) underneath all the shenanigans, NSFW language and blunts.
"Alright everybody, how we all doin' tonight? Here at Jimmy Fallon, everybody in the audience, everybody at home, I can't forget about you. I wanna say thanks to you," she told the crowd in the middle of the song.
But Miley didn't just share gratitude with her audience. She also addressed Donald Trump, Fallon's previous night guest. "There is nowhere I would rather be than in New York City playing this song with the Roots, and being on Jimmy Fallon with our host, who is always so much fun, unless you're Donald Trump," she said. "And then don't even think about messing with my hair, I'm serious."
Expect to see more of Miley on the season 11 premiere of "The Voice," which kicks off Monday night on NBC!
