Miley Cyrus shared several new performances from her Backyard Sessions to support her Happy Hippie Foundation.
Miley continues her conquest to support LGBT youth. She previously performed "Different" with Joan Jett, then with Laura Jane Grace and drummer Atom Willard of Against Me! for their acoustic version of the band's “True Trans Soul Rebel” and most recently an intimate onesie stint with Ariana Grande. Today, Miley's closing out the Backyard Sessions with her cover of Paul Simon's "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover" as well as a cover of The Turtles' "Happy Together."
Not only is it refreshing to see someone of her magnitude reach out to support those in need, but to do so through music is unequivocally impressive. Her renditions of these classic songs is executed beautifully, and gives attention not only to her Happy Hippie Foundation, but to songs young might not necessarily have heard if it wasn't for her.
