Mel B has hit back at Victoria Beckham for claiming that her mic was turned down during Spice Girls performances.
Posh Spice and Scary Spice are caught up in a war of the words. Now that's not very girl power, is it, ladies?
Victoria Beckham caused a stir recently after claiming that her microphone was turned off when she was performing with the Spice Girls. Posh lashed out at her former bandmates, claiming, "They used to turn it off and just let the others sing. I got the last laugh - and now my mic is well and truly on, finally" at a fashion event in May.
Well, Mel B's having none of that, and had a harsh response for her former spice sister at a screening of their 1997 cult classic Spice World earlier this week.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, "She wishes it was turned off," the 41 year old British singer hit back. "We sung live, and we wrote and recorded all our music together live and we performed it live. It wasn't turned down. Not that I know of. Maybe she secretly asked for that -- I don't know about that."
Hopefully all's good between the pair, and Scary referred to the whole band as her sisters multiple times through the evening. Their debut single "Wannabe" turns 20 next month, and fans are still hoping for a reunion to mark the occasion.
Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton have been spotted hitting the recording studio, but no sign of Sport Spice Mel C or Victoria herself, who has claimed multiple times to be done with music and thoroughly focused on fashion.
