The term "song of the summer" gets thrown around a lot these days, but it's because there's a lot of legitimately good music getting flung around every Friday. Take for instance DJ Martin Garrix and Australian pop star Troye Sivan's new tune, "There For You." Sure, it's got the warbly EDM tricks that are a dime-a-dozen, but this one's got an important message of inclusivity – something the world is in dire need of right now.
Sivan's smooth vocals melt over Garrix's frosty beats: "So when your tears roll down your pillow like a river / I'll be there for you, I'll be there for you," he sings. "When you're screaming, but they only hear you whisper / I'll be loud for you / But you gotta be there for me too."
