Mark Ronson, Like Almost Everybody, Is Frustrated He Can’t Stream JAY-Z’s New Album ‘4:44’

Tidal gripe.

JAY-Z just dropped his 13th studio album 4:44 today (June 30), but unless you were a pre-existing Tidal subscriber, or a customer of Sprint, you're unable to stream it. It's part of JAY's lucrative deal with the company – read more about that here.

Apparently producer Mark Ronson didn't catch word of the tedious ins and outs of the streaming exclusive, so he took to Twitter to vent.

“Why the f**k else would I be signing up for this bull ish?,” he wrote. “I signed up for Tidal solely to listen to a Jay Z album, which turns out is the only thing I can't listen to on Tidal.” He added: “I've. Bought. Every. Jay Z Album. The. Day. Of. Release. Usually. On. Vinyl. At. Rock N Soul Records.”

Someone must have hooked Ronson up with a login after his mini-rant, because he also Tweeted “Tidal gripe aside. It's pretty f**king incredible so far #444album.”
