Mariah Carey's New Song "Infinity" Is Out

Mariah Carey’s #1 To Infinity welcome event in Las Vegas starts with the release of her new single, “Infinity.”

On Monday, Carey’s set to make a splash outside The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She’ll walk a fabulous red carpet, dahling, speak a few words about how legendary she is then encourage us to purchase tickets to her new show. In the midst of the hoopla, Carey released her new single, “Infinity,” on iTunes to hype the residency.

In the new track off her greatest hits record also titled “#1 To Infinity,” Carey showcases her iconic vocals – complete with extended high-pitch vocals, boppy chorus and lyrics like:

name hold weight like kilos
boy you actin so corny like fritos
wouldn’t have none of that without me tho
ain’t none of my business this tea tho

“Infinity” is a solid performance by Carey, but the lead single from her new compilation offers nothing innovative or groundbreaking – words she needs next to her name if she wants to compete with the likes of Celine Dion, Elton John or Britney Spears in the city of sin.

Strap on a pair of stilettos and give Mariah’s new single a listen:

We’ll see if it holds up in Las Vegas. Her first show kicks off May 6.

What do you think of Mariah Carey’s new song “Infinity?”

PS – That high note though?
