Madonna's thrilled her "Rebel Heart" theft was caught and arrested.
After a month-long investigation involving the Israeli police, the hacker who got their hands on her unreleased work and leaked all of it was put behind bars where he'll be tortured through listening to Madonna's "Hard Candy" album for eternity.
M is pleased. She posted a message on Facebook telling us so:
“I am profoundly grateful to the FBI, the Israeli Police investigators and anyone else who helped lead to the arrest of this hacker. I deeply appreciate my fans who have provided us with pertinent information and continue to do so regarding leaks of my music. Like any citizen, I have the right to privacy. This invasion into my life – creatively, professionally, and personally remains a deeply devastating and hurtful experience, as it must be for all artists who are victims of this type of crime.” -Madonna
The leak was all too much for the Queen to handle, and it's scary to think we live in an age where music leakers are arrested. It's wrong to steal, but maybe M should take a few lessons from Bjork next time.
The irony is the hacker has a rebel heart.
