In true "Rebel Heart" spirit, Madonna showed us how to push the boundaries in mainstream media with her , performing "Devil Pray" on the latest episode of Italy's Che Tempo Che Fa.

Madonna performed the Avicii-produced song with a simplistic set backed by a five-piece band, a major contrast compared to her recent "Living For Love" efforts (re: BRIT Awards). She stood still for most of it, emphasizing her assisted live singing, several crucifixes and that stark gown. It probably required minimal rehearsing, but it's refreshing watching Madonna perform without all the glitz.
The "Icon" singer sought out songs for "Rebel Heart" that could be stripped of their complicated production and re-worked with only a guitar and still manage to create an impact - her performance of "Devil Pray" embodies that outlook.
