Billboard have revealed that Madonna is now "unequaled chart royalty" after "Ghosttown" became her 45th No.1 on the Dance Club Songs chart.
The Queen of Pop now has the most #1 singles on a singular Billboard chart than any other act in history - and still has more than runners-up, Rihanna and Beyoncé, combined.
Madge tied with
some country singer George Strait when "Living For Love" became her 44th song to hit the top spot in March but, as of today, her throne sits above every other charting artist.
"Ghosttown" - an unlikely dancefloor filler - was helped to the top spot with the official remixes released, so if it can make #1 then it won't be long until she gets that 46th No.1, when next single "Bitch I'm Madonna" drops in the summer.
