Macy Gray is sharing the first single off her upcoming LP.
Macy Gray's feature on Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman cut "Leave Me Lonely" has officially overstayed its welcome on my Spotify account, but fortunately the soulful songstress is readying new material.
Gray premiered her new song "Annabelle" off her forthcoming album Stripped (Christina says hey), which also features reimagined songs from her discography including "I Try," “Sweet Baby," "Slowly," and "The First Time," along with covers of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song,” and Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters,” Billboard reports.
"'Annabelle' is one of my favorite songs on the album," Gray says. "It speaks to all the suffering you go through when you're trying to quit a habit. At the same time the mood of the song inspires a craving for a big fat joint."
