Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello Teams Up With Machine Gun Kelly For New Song “Bad Things”

UPDATE // OCTOBER 13: Machine Gun Kelly and Camila Cabello have a hard time opening up to each other on new song “Bad Things.”

“Am I outta my head? Am I outta my mind?”, Camila sings over a slinky beat. “If you only knew the bad things that I don’t think that I can explain it. What can I say it’s complicated.”

Machine Gun Kelly raps about revealing his darker side, and wanting to be accepted anyway.

For Cabello, it’s a step in the right direction, but like “I Know What You Did Last Summer” with Shawn Mendes, it isn’t going to be the hit she needs to distance herself from Fifth Harmony once and for all.

Camila Cabello has her sights set on the next solo release, this time with Machine Gun Kelly.

As Fifth Harmony continues to implode – it just looks that way – Cabello is looking for new ways to distance herself from the band. Last year, she teamed up with Shawn Mendes on “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and now she has another collaboration with Machine Gun Kelly titled “Bad Things” out Friday (Oct. 14).

As Billboard points out, this is the first new song from MGK since 2015’s General Admission.

Check out the album artwork below.

Cabello has also teamed up with Diplo / Major Lazer in recent months. In other words, her solo career is very near.
