Lynne Spears continued her media circuit today in New York City, making the rounds on several talk shows to promote her new book Through The Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.
Lynne (seen above) first appeared on the The Morning Show with Mike And Juliet, answering several questions about her personal life, including her relationship with Kevin. "I do like Kevin," Lynne says in the interview set to air Thursday. "He's been good to us."
According to OKmagazine.com, Lynne states in her new memoir that she "had reservations" about Britney marrying Kevin at such a young age, but is now "grateful" she has met him. "He's included Jamie and I," she explains. "He could have been a real pill about a lot of things, but he wasn't... He worked with us, and I think he's tried to make things good for the boys."
As for the immense scrutiny she faces day-to-day, Lynne prays that the negative headlines - "drugs, surprise pregnancies, bitter divorces - are finally behind Britney and her little sister, Jamie Lynn."
"I just really hope they find their purpose in life and that it's really going to fulfill them to their full potential," she told Mike and Juliet.
"When co-host Mike Jerrick asks Lynne if, given the chance to do it all over again, she'd have chosen a different path, she says, 'You know what? I don't know. There were certain things that I would do again, of course... But I would always hope that my children would fulfill their dreams. And these were my children's dreams.'
Lynne finished up her promo tour today by also appearing on Fox And Friends. Nice blazer.
