Why do we gotta put each other down when there's more than enough to g-g-go around?
"Come To Mama" is one of the highlights of Lady Gaga's new album Joanne (out today), and its in-part thanks to Father John Misty (real name Joshua Tillman), who's spent a lot of 2016 dabbling in pop (see Beyonce's "Hold Up"). Tillman uploaded his demo of "Come To Mama" today, appropriately renamed to "cum to mama," and it's magical in its own right. There's an affectionate rawness to his version that Mother Monster did without.
He wrote on the video: “Congagarats on your release day gagaga and rondo,” of course referring to Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson, who also took part in creating the track. "Thanks for great times." Listen:
