Rihanna owes her feistiness on "Bitch Better Have My Money" to Bibi Bourelly.
A Twitter user by the name of @ChaseThatHigh somehow got their hands on a bunch of unreleased material, including a song by Lana Del Rey titled "Super Movie" and snippets by Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX and Melanie Martinez. They also managed to get ahold of the demo version of Rihanna's monstrous pre-ANTi single "Bitch Better Have My Money," which features vocals from Bibi Bourelly, who just recently released the video for her new single "Perfect" featuring Earl St. Clair.
Bourelly, who also co-wrote the song, faced criticism last year when she was accused of copying the lyrics from a Houston rapper named Just Brittany.
“It’s like you dedicate [your] entire life to something, you know? You fight for something and actually put the work in, and sacrifice time, like your parents told you to do in order to be ‘successful,’ just so when you finally reach a victory and it’s time to celebrate, some obstacle is there to pull you back down again,” she said in an email to VIBE. “But that’s life, I guess.”
