Last week, Tinashe released a massive new pop tune titled "Flame." It features production from Stargate and BloodPop, who famously help create infectious songs with ease. While the original is still burning up my Spotify playlist, the Joyride singer is sharing a different side to the fiery tune.
The pop star teamed up with Pepsi for The Sound Drop, a collaboration with iHeartMedia, Shazam and Viacom that supports emerging artists "by providing tools to help heighten their visibility, produce content and build a deeper connection with fans," Billboard reports. She'll release a new song titled "Stop Lights" through that channel, but first, Tinashe is sharing an acoustic rendition of "Flame."
At first, I didn't think much of it, but after a few plays of the preview... it's clear the song can take many forms and still perform well. T also explains the inspiration behind the song. Listen:
