Lindsay Lohan Defends Disgraced Hollywood Exec Harvey Weinstein

Lindsay Lohan comes to the defense of Harvey Weinstein as women come forward with claims of rape, abuse, and other forms of sexual misconduct.

Weinstein has reportedly fled the country and checked into a sexual addiction rehab in Europe. He allegedly sexually harassed women for years, and it finally caught up with him.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie are the latest A-listers to come forward and confirm the allegations.

Weinstein's wife Georgina Chapman announced she was separating from him, telling People: "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions," the statement read. "I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time."

No one is taking his side. No one besides Lindsay Lohan. She posted (then deleted) an Insta story defending Weinstein (in her eerie fake accent nonetheless).

“Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan, I’m in Dubai. I’m home,” Lohan said. “I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now. I don’t think it’s right what’s going on.”

The actress also offered her two cents on Chapman's decision to leave Weinstein. “I think Georgina [Chapman] needs to take a stand and be there for her husband,” she added. “He’s never harmed me or did anything to me. We’ve done several movies together. I think everyone needs to stop. I think it’s wrong. So, stand up.”

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but Lindsay telling people to stand up for Weinstein is bizarre. They are taking a stand, Lindsay, but not for an alleged sexual abuser. Sigh.
