Liam Payne’s First Single Reportedly Drops In June

Last but not least... Liam Payne.

He's the only member that hasn't announced or released a new single since departing from One Direction, but that's about to change come the summer. According to The Sun, Payne will drop his urban-sounding lead single in June.

Here's what we know so far:

Liam was writing songs for Jennifer Lopez last year. It's not yet known whether any of his work will make her forthcoming pop album (or vice versa) or if a collaboration ever happened, but it's a promising start.

■ Republic Records will back the former boy bander in the states.

Capitol UK will handle things overseas.

■ He linked up with Pharrell Williams in the studio. "Liam stopped by my studio," the "Happy" singer admitted at the time. "I think he's just genuinely curious about music. He adds: "we have that in common, he's always wanting to see what's new and what's next."

■ Payne also teased this dreamy snippet.

Looks like we'll have to wait another couple of months for Payne's new music. Fortunately, Harry Styles drops his new song "Sign Of The Times" tonight.
