UPDATE // JANUARY 11:
Taking a cue from Lady Gaga, Lea Michele has announced a string of shows dubbed An Intimate Evening with Lea Michele.
She'll perform three shows in Los Angeles and New York at the end of the month.
“I really made sure that this album was all about my voice,” Michele said last month. “It was inspired by a lot of the women I grew up loving and listening to, like Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion, so I think it just really is a good representation of who I am and where I am in my life right now, and I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
She added the forthcoming project is far "more positive" than her previous work. “I think my last album was depressing enough,” she said. “With this one, we got more positivity here for sure. But there are those songs. I mean, definitely be careful when you’re dating a singer who writes music!”
