UPDATE // MARCH 8:
He remained tight lipped about the details of his collaboration with Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, but Steve Aoki has a surprise in store for us.
"It's going to be something people won't expect," the DJ tells Billboard. "We're definitely working on stuff in the studio and I want to nail it," said Aoki. "She's one of my favorite singers, so for me it's really exciting to work with her because I really love her ideas and we're on the same page about so many different things that it's going to be an exciting record that we do together.... Expect the unexpected."
EARLIER // FEBRUARY 15:
Aoki knows a thing or two about molding pop stars into their own. His most-recent release is a collaboration with former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson on "Just Hold On," which peaked at No. 52 on the Hot 100. Let's see how he fares with a member from another superstar group.

The 20-year-old recently linked up with EDM mastermind Steve Aoki in the recording studio. A set of photos of them together during a session were posted to their official Instagram handles.
