UPDATE // MARCH 8:
He remained tight lipped about the details of his collaboration with Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui, but Steve Aoki has a surprise in store for us.
"It's going to be something people won't expect," the DJ tells Billboard. "We're definitely working on stuff in the studio and I want to nail it," said Aoki. "She's one of my favorite singers, so for me it's really exciting to work with her because I really love her ideas and we're on the same page about so many different things that it's going to be an exciting record that we do together.... Expect the unexpected."
EARLIER // FEBRUARY 15:
Lauren Jauregui will try her hand at EDM.
Jauregui is one of the most politically polarizing up-and-comers, unafraid to voice her concern for the well-being of America's future. On the music front, she's not as earnest. The surprise-release with Marian Hill on "Back To Me" is as far as Jauregui has gone without the support of Fifth Harmony, but that's about to change. The 20-year-old recently linked up with EDM mastermind Steve Aoki in the recording studio.
A set of photos of them together during a session were posted to their official Instagram handles.
