Signals crossing can get confusing.
I bring unfortunate news. It was previously reported that Lana Del Rey's forthcoming album Lust For Life would drop May 26. Well, according to a new listing on a music retail website, it won't debut until July 21.
It lists the record on that site as a Japanese import, so perhaps it's referring to a timeline for Japan? Look, I'm trying here.
It's also worth mentioning Lana herself said Lust For Life is "gonna come out in the spring."
The record features three collaborations thus far: The Weeknd on the previously-released album title track (still gorgeous), Sean Lennon (John Lennon and Yoko Ono's son) on "Tomorrow Never Came" and one with Fleetwood Mac front-woman Stevie Nicks.
Last month, the songbird said she has plans to dig into more of the acoustic side of the record, including a one-take song titled "Yosemite," but before fans hear that side she'll "put out a couple more songs that have a similar production to 'Lust For Life' first."
Cast a spell and make that May 26 release date a reality.
