Lana Del Rey's new song is haunting, breathy, beautiful.
We're a few short weeks away from Del Rey's "Honeymoon" album release, and from what we've heard thus far it's shaping up to be a cohesive mix of slinky self-sabotage meets treacherous indulgence. If you thought "Music To Watch Boys To," the latest offering from the record would stray away from her previous releases, including the album title track, "Terrence Loves You" and "High By The Beach," you're mistaken. "Boys" is thematic, a song that'd fit perfectly into a slow motion scene of violence, an avalanche caving or any vivid and dramatic display you can think of. Much like the fine things in life, "Music To Watch Boys To" is simple and stunning.
"I see you're going so I play my music, watch you leave," Lana coos. "I like you a lot."
