Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Performance Makes Emmy History

Lady Gaga knows how to create an award winning show.

That's one of the reasons why she felt compelled to reschedule her first Dive Bar Tour show in Las Vegas slated for today (July 13); the pop star wanted to continue rehearsing for her upcoming Joanne World Tour to make sure it's perfect.

Gaga's efforts also landed a record breaking six Emmy nominations for her Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this year, more than any artist before.

To put things into perspective, Katy Perry and Beyonce's Halftime Shows landed three noms apiece, and Bruno Mars scored two.

As Billboard points out, Gaga's halftime show is up for outstanding special class program; outstanding production design for variety, nonfiction, event, or award special; outstanding lighting design/lighting direction for a variety special; outstanding sound mixing for a variety series or special; outstanding technical direction, camerawork, video control for a limited series, movie, or special; and outstanding musical direction. She's personally nominated in the program category. You can see all six nominations here.

The good news doesn't end there! Gaga's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race scored four nominations.

That's a total of 10 for Mother Monster! Only a legend...
