Lady Gaga is hiding away in Oregon to record her Joanne followup.
It's been a whirlwind couple years for Lady Gaga. The pop star kept up with an extremely demanding schedule of promoting and touring... until she couldn't. Gaga ultimately axed her last 10 Joanne Tour shows due to complications with chronic pain from fibromyalgia, and we haven't seen much of the singer since.
Little Monsters got a rare glimpse of the "John Wayne" crooner at a Starbucks in Oregon this week – the sighting comes on the heels of a report that detailed why she's there in the first place.
The Sun says she's there to work on new music, and frequently visits Cannon Beach because it's said to have "healing properties." They add she's collaborating with DJ White Shadow (Born This Way, ARTPOP). Gaga has posted a handful of photos from her time there on social media (see below).
Gaga's bassist, Jonny Good, told The Sun she's determined to get back in tip-top shape before her Las Vegas residency kicks off in December.
"By the 'Joanne tour' she was already five tours in, battling hip injuries. Nobody knows how she's done it," he said. "She never moans - she does have a great team though, a great physical team. They help. Everyone helps keep the ship together."
