Lady Gaga found a moment to meet with her legal council amidst recording LG5 and filming scenes for American Horror Story: Hotel to strategize how to take down a UK-based ice cream company named The Licktators who use breast milk in their ice cream. They created a new flavor named Royal Baby Gaga after the royal baby, according to Billboard, and Gaga and co. feel the name "infringes on the trademark of her stage name and doesn't want her associated with breast milk ice cream."we
The Licktators are under pressure to remove the name and all references to "Gaga" from social media within 14 days. The company's Nadine O’Connor tells 3am their limited-edition, breast-milk ice cream “neither names nor features Lady Gaga, nor are her trademarks infringed.”
Then, O'Connor sprinkles a bit of passive aggressiveness. “We will not be bullied into removing content from social media relating to our product and subsequent media coverage. However, we will send complimentary tubs of our ice cream to Lady Gaga for chilling out to, as a gesture of peace and goodwill.”
And in a bizarre revelation, this is not the first time Lady Gaga is dealing with a breast milk ice cream lawsuit. In 2011, the "Cheek To Cheek" singer went after The Icecreamists for naming their product "Baby Gaga" and using a Lady Gaga impersonator for marketing.
