Is Lady Gaga readying a second jazz album?
While everyone was going gaga over The Countess' gruesome appearance on the American Horror Story: Hotel season premiere Wednesday night, Lady Gaga took the night to reunite with her Cheek To Cheek co-star Tony Bennett for some much-needed studio time.
It's unclear what the two are cooking up, but Bennett did reveal earlier this year he and Gaga would follow up their first jazz record with a second made up of Cole Porter songs.
"She’s a very good singer. She’s not a flash in the pan," he said at the time. "That’s why I had to do these great standards. And it’s really paying off because the album’s so big. Now we’re about to record an album of all Cole Porter songs. That’ll be the second album.”
Or perhaps it's in preparation for their upcoming performance together in Las Vegas to celebrate what would be Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday on Dec. 12.
Gaga posted a snap of the two on her Instagram, saying "Me and my guy." Bennett shared a similar pic, captioning it "@ladygaga has never looked better or happier. Loved singing with her today."
Lady Gaga is also currently recording her fifth studio album. Perhaps she's aiming for a duel release come 2016?
