Lady Gaga has picked up a nomination for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries at the Golden Globes.
Proving once and for all that she has both the voice and the acting chops, Gaga finds herself alongside actresses Felicity Huffman of Desperate Housewives fame, movie star Kirsten Dunst and Queen Latifah in the nominations for Best Actress in a TV Movie or Miniseries at the 2016 Golden Globes.
The "Bad Romance" star is nominated for her work on Ryan Murphy's latest installment in the American Horror Story anthology. Despite AHS: Hotel receiving a mixed critical reception as a whole, critics have been quick to praise Gaga for her performance, deeming her one of the season's standouts.
This comes at the end of a brilliant year for Lady Gaga in which she is rumored to have recorded much of her as-of-yet untitled forthcoming musical project, on which she is said to have worked with Diane Warren, Nile Rodgers and Mark Ronson.
Lady Gaga took to Twitter this morning to react to the news, saying:
I apologize to my neighbors I'm still screaming in my apt in NY! I'm nominated as an actress for a Golden Globe what a dream is this real!

Speaking of music, Ellie Goulding and Sam Smith also managed to pick up Globe nods, with their respective contributions to the Fifty Shades of Grey and Spectre soundtracks.
The ceremony will air on January 10, 2016 and, if you're interested, you can find a full list of nominees here.
