Lady Gaga Performs Hour-Long Jazz Concert At amfAR's Inspiration Gala

Lady Gaga honored her creative soulmate, Ryan Murphy, with a special jazz concert and a $200,000 donation towards AIDS research.

Murphy received the Inspiration Award at amfAR’s Inspiration Gala at the Milk Studios in L.A. Thursday night for his devotion and efforts to amfAR and the work the organization does for the LGBT community.

Gaga honored her American Horror Story: Hotel collaborator by bidding $200,000 on a Timothy White print of Elizabeth Taylor flipping the bird before performing her favorite jazz hits (sans Tony Bennett), including “Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered,” “Lush Life,” her latest Diane Warren collaboration for “Till It Happens To You” and closed out with “La Vie en Rose.”

“I love Ryan so much, and I’m so, so happy to be here,” said Gaga, “He’s really my friend and he’s a wonderful person.”
