Lady Gaga is all about firsts.
“It’s such a big world stage in terms of how many people see it,” Gaga says in a new behind-the-scenes clip promoting her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl. "[The halftime show has] been done so many times… I think the challenge is to look at it and say, ‘what can I do differently? How can I elevate certain little things here and there and also make it about the music.’”
If she has it her way, she'll elevate the halftime show all the way to the roof. Page Six reports Gaga wants to perform on top of the NRG Stadium’s dome.
An insider tells the gossip site “her team is worried” about technical and safety issues surrounding Gaga’s plan, but she is “pushing to do it.”
“They’re writing up multiple plans about how to safely get her on the roof, including potentially [cutting] a hole in the ceiling of the dome,” says a source with knowledge of the arrangements.

It's worth noting the stadium has a “fabric roof” that is capable of opening in seven minutes.
Her biggest obstacle? The dotted line. “Trying to figure out insurance for it is crazy,” a source added.
