Earlier this month, rumors ran rampant that Lady Gaga was readying a revealing documentary set to air on Netflix on Sep. 22.
It appears the speculation is true. Mother Monster posted a clip of what looks to be a trailer for the doc, and it’s heartbreaking. It features audio of the pop star crying to her friend Brandon about the utter loneliest that superstardom brings. “I’m alone every night and all these people will leave. Right? They will leave and then I will be alone," she says. "I go from everyone touching me all day, and talking at me all day to total silence.”
An earlier report from The Sun says “this the first time Gaga has offered no-holds-barred access like this.” It will reportedly feature footage filmed over the last year, including the creation of Joanne, her split from fiance Taylor Kinney and filming for American Horror Story.
