Lady Gaga will take Joanne on the road.
Previous reports suggested Mother Monster would use her massive platform at the Super Bowl to announce a tour to promote her recently-released record Joanne, but wonder no more. The pop star herself confirmed there is a tour planned and an announcement is on the way.
"Yeah I am [going on tour]," Gaga said in a new interview with Las Vegas radio station Mix 94.1. "We're going to announce it really soon."
94.1 host Mercedes pushed Gaga for details, like whether the millions of viewers would receive the announcement during the halftime show, but Gaga remained tight-lipped. Us Weekly claims Gaga will announce the tour the morning after the SB (Monday, Feb. 6).
Gaga also opened up about the nerves ahead of the big day.
"I think once you see the performance, you'll know exactly what was going through my mind – right before the show... because it will make more sense," she admitted. "What I will say is that more than my own fears about myself on this one, I feel a tremendous responsibility to be very good and the best at my job."
She wouldn't confirm or deny whether she's performing on the roof.
Lady Gaga Says She'll Be Suspended In The Air At Super Bowl Halftime Show
As for whether the "Million Reasons" singer would consider a residency in Las Vegas one day like her fellow pop stars Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and many more, Gaga says she's game.
"I would love to. I'm excited some day to do that," adding: “I Love Las Vegas and I love the people there and I love show business. I’m a real old fashioned girl."
