Kesha Is Reportedly Recording With Ryan Tedder

Kesha's "Counting Stars" is coming.

The pop star is still figuring out where she stands in her legal battle with Dr. Luke, but in the mean time, she's hard at work on a new studio album with RCA and another Sony subsidiary facilitating the process along with Kemosabe staff to ensure Dr. Luke is seemingly out of the picture. She's reportedly already handed over 28 new songs, and has many more in the works.

Following a report the "Animal" singer is enlisting producer Ricky Reed and Justin Tranter comes news of a potential venture with Ryan Tedder, a songwriting mastermind responsible for some of the biggest pop cuts in the last decade (Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Adele, Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Kelly Clarkson).

X17online claims she's planning on releasing a single with Tedder's help. "Kesha's desperate to release new music," they write. "She's not sitting around doing nothing, she's been in the studio, she's just bound by this old contract the judge wouldn't release her from. But she's been put together with Ryan Tedder and they're doing something. I've heard it's amazing."

[My new songs] “showcase my vulnerabilities as a strength and not as a weakness," Kesha recently told Billboard at the Woman In Music event last month. "In the past, I always felt like I was trying to prove something. Now, I’m writing what I want to share with the world, rather than trying to give the world what it wants. For better or worse, I’m just me.”
