Keri Hilson is officially coming back.
It's been over five years since Keri Hilson's last album was released, but the singer/songwriter is ready to make her mark on the R&B scene with her newly-announced album L.I.A.R (which stands for Love Is a Religion).
According to press release from Zone 4 Records, the first single from the upcoming album, "Again," will be released on Friday, March 18. It's described as a raw mid-tempo R&B anthem, and it is produced by Mike Will Made-It.
I said I’d never do it again, but I turned around and I did it again / I know I said that this was the end, but I turned around and I did it again
The album will reportedly address much of Keri's life from the past five years. “I promise, I will tell my fans everything on this album. Why I was really gone, what actually happened, what didn’t, what I could control, and what I couldn’t... Never will I ever again take a break from music.”
L.I.A.R will also see collaborations with Chris Brown, Timabaland, Danja, Polow da Don, and more.
In a world where R&B music has not had huge success as of late, hopefully we can expect to see Keri find success with her comeback.
In case you forgot who Keri Hilson was, she is responsible for writing some major hits for a lot of our faves, including Britney's "Gimme More" and "Break the Ice." Some of Keri's biggest hits are below:
