Kelly Clarkson’s teary-eyed performance of “Piece By Piece” catapulted the album of the same name back into the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.

Clarkson originally recorded “Piece By Piece” as a breezy mid-tempo tune for the album before revitalizing it as a faster-paced edit for radio. However, it was the melancholy piano ballad version that struck a chord with audiences. After her performance of the latter on American Idol, Clarkson’s most recent studio album received a lot of attention from fans purchasing the “Idol” version on iTunes, which grabbed the No. 1 spot following the performance. Enough people were curious about the rest of the record, it jumped from No. 120 to No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart with 44,000 units (up 682 percent) and 19,000 copies sold (up 676 percent, with its best sales frame since its second week on sale), reports Billboard.

The 1975‘s new album I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It debuts at No. 1 this week, earning 108,000 equivalent album units or 98,000 in pure album sales.

Adele’s 25 drops 1-2 with 74,000 units, Rihanna’s ANTi moves 2-3 with 71,000, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ new This Unruly Mess I’ve Made debuts at No. 4 with 61,000 units and Justin Bieber’s Purpose slides down to No. 5 with 56,000 units (down 12 percent).
