Katy Perry is slowly creeping back onto the scene.
One of the best ways to reintroduce herself - by supporting a good cause.
Perry will lend her vocals to the "Cinema against AIDs" event held by amfAR, which raised $30 million last year.
This spectacular, star-studded gala is one of the world's most successful benefit events and the most coveted ticket in town during the Cannes International Film Festival. In 2016, amfAR returns to the fabled Hôtel du Cap for the 23rd annual Cinema Against AIDS. To date, the event has raised more than $170 million for amfAR's life-saving research programs and helped keep the fight against AIDS in the global media spotlight.
The event takes place on May 19 and, while there's no word on whether she'll perform a new song yet, you can probably expect a compelling performance of Firework.
