EARLIER // MARCH 2:

"I'm Goddness and u know it."

Katy Perry has plans to release her new music in bits and pieces because of Internet A.D.D. “I think I want to put out some songs first before I give them the full meal,” she said of her album release strategy. “I think we are digesting things in bite size these days and that’s what we can handle. It’s not shade or anything at all like that… but when someone has a 17 or 19 track album and you’re like, ‘I have to take a trip to Mars to listen to your record in full!’ I mean I love you, you’re my favorite dope artist, but like we want bite size.”

Several days ago, Perry teased what sounded like an intro to a song. "I won’t no, I won’t apologize," she chanted sans music. "I will not, will not subscribe. Don’t ask me, ask me to normalize." It was aggressive, but rest assured... there's actual music on the new LP.

The pop star hopped onto social media to share several more previews of her fourth studio album. The new teasers feature a stomping beat and an empowering message; this is the Katy Perry we missed hearing. Listen below:
