New music is reportedly out soon.
Kanye West has unplugged.
UPDATE // MARCH 14, 2018:
Well, here we are. Nearly an entire year has passed since BreatheHeavy's original report (see below) about Kanye West hiding out in Wyoming to record his new album, and he's still at it.
"Kanye has been recording in Jackson Hole for the last week," a source tells E! News.
Another source adds: "Kanye loves to escape to Wyoming to record his music because it is peaceful and he can lock up and really focus on getting tracks done. He thinks by being at the mountains, he doesn't have many distractions and can have a more clear sense of direction for his music," said the source.
"That is why he usually escapes there when he is in the zone to get things done. Kanye wants to release something ‘very soon' and is really excited about getting back into the creative game." E! also goes into detail about Kim Kardashian visiting him there. Read more about that here.
A lot has changed since 2016's The Life of Pablo, so it'll be interesting to see how that translates in his music. Stay tuned...
EARLIER // MAY 9, 2017:
The rapper is embroiled in the creation process of a new album. He rid himself of Twitter and Instagram and is hiding away at a mountaintop retreat in Wyoming, TMZ reports. They also know he visited the spot two weeks ago.
What better way to gather inspiration for new material than a serene getaway? After a mental breakdown and an extremely bizarre, public meet and greet with President Trump, Kanye needs this.
West reportedly started recording The Life Of Pablo followup from his hospital bed during the time he was committed last year. Can you imagine an album with songs detailing his harrowing encounter that trickle into where he is right now. He's in Wyoming for God's sake! Nothing terrible happens there.
No more parties in LA...
