Kanye was seen, but not heard at Coachella over the weekend.

Kesha was not the only star to make a surprise cameo at Coachella this weekend, Kanye also got in on the action, jumping in on not 1, but 2 different sets on Friday night. The always controversial rapper seemingly cannot resist the spotlight, as he joined A$AP Rocky toward the end of his set, to perform The Life of Pablo track “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1”. Unfortunately for West, A$AP Rocky’s set went late, and as a result Kanye’s mic was not on for most of the performance and the two rappers were forced to leave the stage following the song.

Check out clips from his performance, where pretty much all you can hear is A$AP blurting out every 3rd or 4th word of Kanye’s verse, while he silently raps beside him:

Kanye graced the crowd with his presence again later on during Jack Ü’s performance. It was another silent performance for West who simply walked on stage while his song “Power” blared over the speakers, stood still for a few seconds, then left the stage.
