Kanye West's protégée has the talent to back up the hype.
Kacy Hill is ready to let go.
Kacy Hill has been working on her debut album ever since releasing "Lion" last summer and returns on this glorious day with two brand new tracks for us, "Hard To Love" and "Like A Woman."
The songs show two different sides of the GOOD Music starlet - stylistically, lyrically, and sonically - as one was crafted with dance producer Stuart Price (Madonna's "Confessions") and the other produced by DJ Mustard.
"Hard To Love" - co-helmed by Price - finds Hill exploring new territory as she embraces her inner pop star, showcasing her powerful vocals over dance-pop production that builds into dizzying euphoria.
"Like A Woman" - the title track of her upcoming debut LP - slows things down as she sings piano-side about her struggles with sexuality and being comfortable in her own skin that way.
Both songs are absolutely brilliant, and show real promise for her debut. With her talents and Kanye West as a mentor, Kacy Hill might just be the name on everybody's lips this summer.
