Tuesday √. A collaboration between Justin Timberlake and Timbaland surfaced.
No sense in carrying out any of your obligations today, because a ridiculously lit song from JT and his solo career wingman Timbaland titled "Battle Of The Sexxxes" will monopolize all of your time.
It's not clear when the song was created, but the vibey bass and haunting production sounds like it'd fit perfectly on The 20/20 Experience part II.
"Don't hurt em' Justin," Timbaland says with a laugh in the intro. "That was the past, baby... put it all behind ya." That kicks into a maddening beat and slick snaps with a couple of horns carrying Justin's message along: "don't be afraid to get nasty, don't be afraid to get wild."
Timberlake is working on a followup record as we speak, but he admits it's in its infancy, so it's safe to say this latest tune was left on the cutting room floor for 20/20. Some suspect it's a demo from 2004. Right now, the "True Blood" singer is focused on carrying out his responsibilities as executive producer for the upcoming Trolls movie soundtrack. JT dropped one of the songs of the summer with "Can't Stop The Feeling" which was recently certified Platinum by the RIAA.
