Justin Timberlake appropriately covers Earth, Wind & Fire’s “September” for the Trolls soundtrack.

Fans of JT will get their hands on a collection of new songs when the Trolls LP is made available tomorrow, which includes his summer bop “Can’t Stop The Feeling” and the Anna Kendrick duet of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors.”

Today (Sep. 22), Timberlake is getting down to a cover of the disco ditty “September,” which features all the best parts of an era most of us weren’t born in. It’s also a touching tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire Founder Maurice White, who passed away in February of this year from complications with Parkinson’s disease. With help from JT, his legend lives on.

The Trolls soundtrack features seven tracks from Timberlake, plus contributions from Ariana Grande and Gwen Stefani.
