Justin Bieber's album drops November 13.
Rumors ran rampant on Tuesday Bieber's new album drops just in time for Thanksgiving, and Billboard confirms it, claiming it does indeed drop Nov. 13. Last month, the 21-year-old announced his first single titled "What Do You Mean" on Ryan Seacrest's KISS FM radio show, describing it as "fun" and "summery."
“Definitely the first single is amazing. I worked really hard on it with a guy named Poo Bear.” He adds, “It’s really uplifting, clear, poppy, but cool,” he revealed. “The sounds are super expensive. Skrillex is a genius. He’s super futuristic and I just love his sound. So to be able to incorporate that sound with what I’m doing has been super cool because it’s new and fresh. I feel like no one has done it before. I’m very excited.”
It took him three years to reach this point.
“I’ve been working a lot in the studio, just trying to have a consistent sound, a cohesive sound,” he explained. “I get in my head a lot and I get kind of depressed because I want it to work so badly. I want people to love it. I want to inspire people. Sometimes I wonder, ‘Is this good enough? Is this the direction I want to go?’ I had kind of a rough week last week. I get in my head and I don’t want to get out of bed sometimes.”
Here's a preview of it that leaked from a party Bieber was at earlier in the month:
