A zenned out Justin Bieber tells Beliebers attending his concert to be quiet.
When I first heard Bieber pleading with his fans to hush up, I rolled my eyes. ‘Who tells people to stop screaming at a concert?!’ But imagine never hearing yourself think because your mere presence sends people into a frenzy. That shit could get old.
During his Purpose show in Birmingham, England this week, Bieber asked the crowd around him to “relax for like two seconds.”
“I get it, but I’m like two feet away from you. And I can hear you. I appreciate it. I appreciate all the love. It’s amazing,” he said. “But can you show it in a different way? The screaming is just so obnoxious.”
He hoped his words would resonate, but the screaming persisted. “Take a chill pill for a second and just listen to me speak,” he went on to say. “I don’t feel like I’m being heard sometimes and it gets a little frustrating. So if when I’m speaking you guys could not scream at the top of your lungs, is that cool with you guys? Can we do that?”
Thousands came to see Justin Bieber, and no one is listening.
