Justin Bieber has premiered "The Feeling" and "Love Yourself" on Beats 1 Radio.
The 21-year-old has been busy promoting his new album "Purpose" with various interviews and performances around the world but he managed to squeeze in a phone call with Zane Lowe for a quick chat and generously debuted two new songs.
The much-teased Halsey collaboration - "The Feeling" - came first and the electro-pop cut makes is an interesting listen. It unconventionally kicks off with the chorus and the two singers' breathy vocals mesh well on the musical love letter, but by the last chorus it's already background noise.
Bieber co-wrote the second song, "Love Yourself," with Ed Sheeran and the UK singer-songwriter's influence is heard loud and clear. That's not a dig, though - it's refreshing to hear Justin's voice take centre stage with more low-key production.
"You think you broke my heart / Oh girl for goodness sake," Bieber sings on the folk-pop ditty.
