Bieber performs new cuts off 'Purpose,' including "The Feeling," "No Pressure," "Company" and "Love Yourself."
Justin Bieber's Purpose is on track to claim the No. 1 spot, and his performances on the TODAY show will help solidify it.
Bieber should debut atop the charts this week, but he's not letting the bow get to his head. He dropped by the morning show in NYC on Wednesday (Nov. 17) to sing several Purpose cuts, including the lead singles "What Do You Mean," and "Sorry," though he was originally scheduled for Monday.
Bieber admits he lost his friend Thomas Ayed in the Paris attacks last Friday and wanted to switch up his plans.
"It was really hard for me,” he said, “We’d been working together for probably like four, five years. It’s just a sad thing.”
Bieber also invited several guest stars, including "No Pressure" collaborator Big Sean (one of our favorite tracks on the album), as well as Halsey for "The Feeling." The 21-year-old also performed an acoustic version of his Ed Sheeran-penned song "Love Yourself (another fav) and "Company."
