Last year, Jennifer Lopez announced she re-signed with Epic Records and had plans to release new music "very soon." In the time since 2014's A.K.A., Lopez has released a handful of songs, including "Ain't Your Mama," a duet with Marc Anthony on a cover of Pimpinela’s “Olvidame Y Pega La Vuelta,” another duet with Roberto Carlos on "Chegaste" and a collaboration with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda on “Love Make The World Go Round.” She also crafted a song with Drake for More Life, but it didn't make the cut (JLo and Drake were reportedly dating for a minute, but she's since linked up with baseball star Alex Rodriguez) and one for Pitbull titled "Sexy Body."
The pop star will release a pop record eventually, but first she has plans to put forth a Spanish album. We don't know much about it, aside from Marc Anthony acting as the executive producer. It could also feature a song with J Balvin that is produced by Skrillex.
The trio linked up in the recording studio this week. Plus, Skrillex just began following JLo on Instagram; the 2017 method of confirming collabos.
