From Styles to solos.
If anyone can make Harry Styles a famous musician for his material sans his One Direction bandmates, it's Jay Z, who reportedly has his sights set on molding Styles solo career.
Jay said, “I can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers – and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year.”
Styles' name is now attached to several new songs as of last week, registering with performance rights organization ASCAP. The four songs in question are listed solely under Harry Styles, rather than One Direction when he’s previously written for the band. The songs include “Already Home,” “Coco,” “Endlessly” & “5378 Miles,” and Jay Z has plans to help them get to the top.
“I would love to sign Harry. Simon [Cowell] is going to want to carry on working with him, of course. But we could do a joint venture – we both have big qualities we can bring to the table, and Harry can make more than enough money for everybody to get a piece of the pie.”
