Janet Jackson In Talks To Create Autobiographical Documentary Series For Netflix

Don't call it a reality show.

Jackson has kept a low profile since her split from Wissam Al Mana, but according to a source via The Sun, she has plans to film her life juggling mommyhood with being one of the world's most iconic pop stars, and she wants to beam it straight to Netflix.

“Janet has been fiercely private about her life in the past but feels the need to keep her fans in the loop with what life has been like since she went into hiatus ten years ago,” said the source.

“The show will run as a ten-part documentary and will feature recording sessions in the studio, co-parenting her child with Wissam and preparing for the European and Asian legs of her tour. Netflix [is] negotiating a big sum for the rights to the show as they expect it to perform well,” the source added.

Earlier this month, Janet announced she'd embark on the State Of The World Tour. “Hey you guys it’s me, Jan," she starts. “This message was supposed to be about something else… I just want to keep it real with you guys for a second.” She gushed over her baby boy and mentions the separation, then dives right into the reveal. “I’m continuing my tour as I promised. I am so excited. I decided to change the name of the tour. State of the World Tour.' It’s not about politics. It’s about people, the world, relationships and just love.”

Mariah Carey teas. This could either go really well, or... terribly.
