Janet Jackson made a triumphant return to the stage last night in Vancouver.
Kicking off the "Unbreakable World Tour," the superstar performed an astounding 31 songs during the two-hour show and did it all in one costume (that's right! No changes.)
There are no gimmicks or lapdance routines this time around, just a timeless legend using her tremendous talent to remind the world what it's been missing - and putting today's pop girls to shame.
She opened with a brand new Missy Elliott-assisted track before exploring the depths of her impressive back catalogue, performing "All For You," "Miss You Much," "Throb" and career-defining hits such as "Rhythm Nation," "If" and "Together Again."
The 49-year-old's live vocals were smooth and strong, and her innate rhythm is still very much intact as she failed to miss a beat, even in her most legendary and complex choreography.
Janet debuted four new songs from her highly-anticipated eleventh studio album, including the title track "Unbreakable," and also gave the first live performance of recent single "No Sleeep."
