On doctor's orders, she has delayed her world tour.
Jackson thanked fans and crew for their efforts but explained she has no choice but to put the tour dates off for now:
There's going to be a new addition to the iconic Jackson family. After health problems postponed the first leg of her Unbreakable Tour, Janet Jackson has once again had to change her travel plans. But for a much better reason this time. Janet announced via a video uploaded to her Twitter that she and husband Wissam Al Mana are planning a family.
A message from Janet...https://t.co/KrzYZ4eyvD— Janet Jackson (@JanetJackson) April 6, 2016
"You guys made it so enjoyable each and every night. We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue to tour as soon as I possibly can."While Janet never explicitly said she's pregnant, it's pretty clear based on doctor's orders to rest. Janet and partner Al Mana have been married since 2012. If she is, this will be Janet's first child. Congrats!
